A Strong Reason for Hillary to Stay in

First, let me preface with the fact that I don't make a habit of blogging or writing about politics and it's not because I am not informed of aware of what's going on. On the contra. I usually have to self limit myself on the amount of political discourse I expose myself to. My roommate often rolls his eyes when he comes home and that glowing CNN logo in the corner of our dinky little TV set.

No, I don't often write about politics because I feel there are so many more better informed and better connected people to write on the subject. I mean, if you wanted top-notch analysis, head over to Politico or the Huffington Report. But I felt like I had to address an issue that I haven't seen discussed over airwaves or through the tubes known as the Internet.

Everyone is saying Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race. I mean Everyone. EVERYONE. Ok, maybe not everyone but enough for that sentiment to be the headline of every news site. Though she had the expected lost in North Carolina, she was still able to squeak out a win in Indiana. Who are all these people who are voted for a doomed, has been candidate?

I argue based on the single fact that she is still able to carry a swing state while being called to drop out by political leaders is a reason she SHOULD stay in the race. Clinton trails Obama 1,815 to 1,672 in total delegates, according to The Associated Press. But what if she wasn't so far behind Barrock Obama? I wonder how many more people would switch their vote to her side if she had a more viable chance of securing the nomination. It impresses me how many people are stilling voting for Clinton given the fact that pundits claims she has as much chance of winning as do the Rockies of winning this year's World Series.

Now, please don't paint me as a Clinton lover. I haven't decided which candidate (out of Clinton Obama or John McCain) I am going to support in November. But what I am a supporter of is giving all voters options.

And that's all I gotta say about that. Now, what is that crazy Britney up to . . .
